— Adam Buxton (@AdamBuxton) March 27, 2017
Be inspired and collect information on all your characters, locations and background story, with everything you need to know about the world or place in which your story is set.
Start with fun ways to think about making up characters, then pick your favourites and create worlds – maps of towns, illustrations of where your characters will live – using words, drawings or even scrapbooking.
You’ll finally be able to combine this all together and start bringing your stories to life. Created by the BAFTA award-winning animation team The Brothers McLeod.
The book has been published in a number of International territories, including Russia where it’s proved very popular! Check out book’s Russian Instagram tag

I am fifty pages into @brothersmcleod’s “Create Your Own Universe”, as suggested to me by @onesharper, and it’s already proving to be a useful tonic. It’s encouraging me to think more freely and just be creative for the sake of it. Would recommend if you’re feeling a bit stuck.

I found @brothersmcleod‘s Create Your Own Universe book really inspiring. I sometimes come across things by subscribing to podcasts, blogs, TinyLetters (esp non-fiction ones by people with far more interesting lives than me). Science stuff from Wired, Inverse, etc.
